I almost returned these speakers and luckily found that my Bluetooth transmitter wasn't very good in the old tablet, the older generation and after upgrading to 5.0 the party connectivity I can use five speakers throughout the house in different rooms on the same floor. They sound great together, stay connected all day and I only need to re-sync them maybe once a day. Here's the best: After visiting my local Best Buy chain and listening to many quirky designs from various big brands, I couldn't find a better-sounding speaker for use in multiple rooms around the home. Another problem was that all systems worked over Wi-Fi and you were forced to use their players. I use my favorite Winamp with the 432 pitch down plug-in so I can just sync the speakers once a day in party mode and they stay connected. Sony has done wonders with the design of this speaker. I've worked in audio and video production for decades and listen to both very high quality studio speakers and a lot of portable speakers. Sony's design is special and many people don't realize how incredible these little speakers are. Their warm, authentic sound creates a personal experience that is very difficult to achieve for certain genres, such as jazz, which I mostly listen to. They sound great with any type of music, and they have plenty of bass, way more than is needed for many styles of music. Don't expect a miracle to replace your 500th water system with these portable pumps. In stereo mode, after adjusting the equalizer building through the application, I managed to get such quality of sound that I only heard in studios. It's amazing how the DSP in the speakers can produce such stereo, amazing separation between instruments and frequency ranges and a very nice sounding warm bass. The bass is so incredible that it reproduces standing bass and walking bass as well as slides in jazz, which is very difficult for any speaker. For use in multiple rooms in our home, I add 3dB of treble and reduce the bass by -12dB. If I'm only listening to music in one place in a stereo pair, I use 3dB boost for the treble and 6dB boost for the bass. The illusion of large studio speakers with incredible warmth and separation between instruments. It's hard to believe that we have this kind of technology today, and it's wireless! I'd recommend changing the default mono to stereo right away, which makes a world of difference in sound quality, especially if you're playing with just a mono speaker. Also, make sure to update the firmware to the latest version. Another suggestion is to use the latest Bluetooth 5 and you can buy cheap adapters from Revain. this creates a sharp color difference and a much more enjoyable listening experience. These speakers reproduce and bring out the true beauty of any style of music. I recommend the 432 player for the phone. s and some computer plug-ins that lower the pitch from 440 Hz to 432 Hz. On all my phones I use the 432 player and on the PC I use Winamp with an elastic pitch shift VST plugin. Just buy a pair of speakers (I bought five from Revain and two from elsewhere), listen in stereo, then tweak the EQ, it will change the way you look at music. Thank you Sony!
