Help clean up after a flood!

We recently experienced a flood in Houston. Our house was fine, but the neighbors were flooded. When the water receded, we volunteered to clean the neighbors' clothes: clean, disinfect, remove stains, restore. We used Carbona stain remover extensively to wash clothes for several days. A large number of things were stained by contact with a crimson silk dress. White shirts and blouses were particularly affected. They have all been cleaned with Carbona Color Run Remover. We have used Carbona Color Run Remover occasionally for a number of years. You may have had an issue where a small new colored item mixed in with the white wash and the white items looked dull with color stains on the whites. On white it worked every time we used it. But be careful: you need three boxes to load the washing machine. Also note that you must use the hottest water possible for the fabric being cleaned. And you may have to edit multiple times, although we usually work once. When it comes to dyed fabrics, it's all about performance. This only works on colored fabrics. What you are thinking is probably not entirely correct. We had a pair of light blue shorts that turned a pale purple after treatment, although the color stains were removed. Each subsequent wash slowly brought the color back to the original, but it probably took 20-30 washes. The directions on the packaging are clear and mean what they say. It's pretty easy. I remember that when there is a paint disaster, clothes, sheets or towels are lost if this miracle cure does not work. If I want to avert disaster, I use Carbona Color Grabber laundry sheets. Absolutely amazingly effective.
