The device works great. I've used all 8 ports and love the remote control. I have it right under the keyboard and it's very handy. It lights up enough to always know which computer I'm connected to, and switching is quick. I particularly like the option of working with a wireless mouse. Some cables were longer than the cables that came with it. I've tried replacing the old blocks with long cables, but the wiring isn't the same anymore. However, I found that the video cable is the same, so I connected the old cable to the new one and then used it for video. Connected the USB from the new cable to the new run to the computer and everything works fine.
