The cables are too long and not thick enough.

Cable too long and not thick enough. You are thinner than I thought. They don't provide enough power to charge my Nextbook 11A Ares tablet through my inverter's USB ports. The thicker cable I put together and a foot less does the job. I actually bought these to no longer use the one I built. It was a bad move.
