You just can't beat the Chaco. After a while, they feel like a part of you. Nothing feels more secure on your feet. I wore a pair for so many years until I said goodbye to the only one. Don't know how to send it back without the box (lost it soooo many moves ago) so thought it was time to charge. Oh so glad I did. While I couldn't find my exact backless pair, these puppies fit the bill. Feel strong and protected, wild horses couldn't take them off but they are so comfortable. I have no problem running from rugged mountains to rivers and beyond. These kids are truly off-road vehicles that never smell or get weird/rude. Shoes remain pristine no matter how much damage you inflict on them. Chaco is my favorite shoe brand. They go with everything as they are much nicer than regular sandals and will take you much further and more comfortably.
