It's better to turn it upside down and empty it than trying to pull the tray out.

The train is not very deep, so you must use a minimum of debris. Otherwise, when you pull out the tray, all the droppings will be pushed to the ground. Using minimal filling means less absorbency and more odor. No thank you. My bunny chewed the blue mat all the way through and really enjoys chewing on the tray. The best part is a small dustpan and a broom.

Pros
