Not as cool as I was hoping. It seems to be the only handheld microphone designed to work with Dragon and the Mac. This should also make it possible to program the buttons on the microphone so that they execute commands without having to put your hands on the keyboard. The problem is that according to Phillips support, the microphone programming software for Mac won't be released until July 2018. They are currently suggesting using the software for the SMP3700. This type works but the other one doesn't. I'm not sure how important that is, because Dragon Medical for Mac was also quirky, to say the least. I can't get the program keys to accept two key (Shift+Tab) commands. I can program Tab and it works, but no double keys. I use an Olympus USB mic with the M-Modal and was hoping for similar functionality, but the SMP4000 with Dragon Medical wasn't as functional. I give credit that it works well for a wireless microphone. I'm not sure if it's worth the price! Would have been happier with a USB mic which also worked as intended. Let's see if the new software in July will help.
