I've been wearing military style belts for more than a decade since I left the service. I still use one of these, even though it looks pretty "pathetic". I've tried a few fakes sold here at Revain and the "buckles" were much weaker with the loop that attaches the buckle to the leash belt coming loose just by looking at it. Then I saw them as a recommended item to check out. Ordered 2 (my bad habit of ordering belts) and they both fit perfectly. I spend quite a bit of time stooping, wearing a tool belt, climbing stairs, and doing other things that don't tolerate fakes. Also, it doesn't cause any discomfort and lasts much better than I expected. I had about 5 pounds of nails in a pocket that clipped directly to my belt, a hammer and branch tools in my carpenter's pants, a level dangling from my belt on the opposite side, and of course a belt-clipped phone case. and the harness never slipped even when in the air at over 10 feet. I took off one star for quality control. There is a metal clip at the end of the strap to prevent fraying and it has been applied at an angle for both straps I have received, leaving half of the point of the strap exposed. Remove the clip completely and light up the ends to keep the belt from unraveling and rivet 2 pieces of scrap to keep it looking decent (after painting it black).
