Ok I just received this item. It's time in the box, in good condition but not sealed, I just opened the lid. In the box I found the armrest and table mount in an open plastic bag. Both appear to be in good condition but I found the armrest to be very expensive and poorly made. It's nothing but cheap flimsy plastic. The Velcro straps are short but I was able to attach them to a chair. It is not stable at all, it wobbles and slides. I then used the attachment to attach it to my table. It doesn't work at all on the table. You can't even touch it lightly without it tipping over. I would return it in a heartbeat, but I'm starting a new job in a week and I'll see if it works better in my work chair than my home office chair. I chose this armrest because it was intended to be attached to a table or chair. The table isn't really an option, it doesn't work. I really need an arm rest due to an injury so I'm hoping this will work in my work chair. I'll post an update after trying this. The armrest doesn't cost more than $10-15 in my opinion, even if it works because of the cheap design. Okay, I'll bump that up to 3 stars now. I tried it on my son's desk and chair and it worked much, much better there. So if it matches your furniture, it will work as advertised. It's very thin and I wouldn't put any pressure on it because I'm pretty sure it will break. I will see if this works in my office and will update my review again if I feel the 3 stars need correcting.
