This is a strong, well made mesh bag. However, there are some caveats when it comes to what I specifically bought it for, which is cold brew coffee. The package will be stained with coffee grounds, I don't care, just thought I'd mention it. Another problem is that coffee grounds can get caught in the lanyard opening and it's almost impossible to get out. The last problem I have is that if you make the grind finer than coarse, the sediment will go through the bag. Aside from those issues, he did everything I asked him to do. I expect this will work well with all the other stuff people want to soak and strain, just be careful how finely ground your material is.
