Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

My parents have asked for Internet access on a personal computer and I have provided it to them because they reside outside of the city. The initial concept is to use a smartphone as a wireless hotspot (as it is capable of receiving 4G signals), and to connect a wireless adapter to the personal computer (there is no built-in one). After careful consideration of the various options available on the market, this particular model was selected (good price-performance ratio). Purchased for a total of 590. After that, the unsettling dances with a tambourine began when I was setting up and installing the drivers. The fact that the drivers were not stored on a flash drive but rather on a separate disk was the first thing that caught my attention (it didn't bother me too much with a disk drive on a PC, but how many people now have a disk drive?). If you do not have a drive, you will need to download the drivers from the manufacturer's website (in my situation it would be fatal). Following the completion of the installation of all of the disk drivers, the flash drive began blinking a green light while. Nothing was successful. It is the same as if there were no wireless adapter at all. It's possible that these are advantages of working on my personal computer or on Windows 7 in general. Thankfully, some kind individuals have created a video that explains how to solve this issue (the solution requires doing some sort of alchemy in the operating system settings; it's not simple, and I never would have thought of it on my own). And it was successful in every way. It connects flawlessly when using a wi-fi station, such as a smartphone, and the signal captures without a hitch (at what distance the signal is lost - I did not measure it). There is Internet access on this computer, and while it is not ideal, it is sufficient for YouTube to function properly. In general, a typical device for its cost, but you should be prepared to shake a tambourine while installing drivers and configuring it.

Pros
  • -the pricing; -the fact that it works well; -the value that it offers in terms of its performance.
Cons
  • - Challenges with both the installation and the configuring.
