Climbing holds are well made of durable material and no excess material is left after casting. The supplied mounting material is a publicly available screw and a T-piece. So if you need to replace something in the future, you don't have to look for custom or proprietary parts. Using a screw lock when securing these mounts is essential as the hardware does not have a locking function, so the screws can loosen over time. My only complaint is about the safety plugs. The size of the devices covered by the plugs isn't very large and doesn't require space for a large tool, so we wanted to know why the plugs are so big. While the plugs are large compared to the devices they cover, they're still small enough to pose a choking hazard, which is disappointing. After I installed the safety plugs, it took only a few minutes of movement and shaking before the first plug slipped out of the bilge. I ended up using repair-grade threadlock to keep the connectors from falling out on their own, but if the problem reoccurs I'll resort to superglue. Candles are the low point in an otherwise great product.
