Review on RCA DRC277 DVD Player by Vera Gashi

I've had this DVD player for a little over 2 years and it still works great. I used an expensive HDMI cable (more expensive than a player) and I get excellent video and sound quality. I just watched a movie on Samsung Blue Ray and I can tell you that there is not much difference in the quality I get from this player connected to my LED HDTV and Blue Ray, except that Blue Ray plays the movie loads for over 2 minutes and if you make a mistake by pressing stop, you screwed up and will have to start over. With RCA you can pause and even turn off the player and it will start again from where you left off. I haven't had any problems so far and can only recommend it. If it breaks after a few months, as some reviewers have complained, just replace it. It's cheap, the price of a meal in a good restaurant.
