EXACTLY as others have stated in their reviews, this "Protection Board" does not work! I understand that this board is NOT balancing. For my application which is ok I need charge/overcharge protection and overdischarge protection. My system has a MAX discharge rate of 6.8 amps (all on, just for 8 seconds, then reduce to 2 amps). My system is NOT a "drill motor" but a combination of LEDs, relays, processors, sensors and a "boost" power supply. I installed this board, checked, everything is fine. Then I balanced the LiPO batteries with a separate balance tester, everything is fine. Then I fully charged the batteries through this board and checked the output, fully charged, everything is fine. To be "safe" (as I thought), I turned off everything in the system that draws about 250mA at rest (only 1/4 amp!). Connect the battery to the control unit (Figure 1/4 AMP), the circuit board no longer works! NO smoke, NO heat, just doesn't work anymore! To make sure it was the board I removed the board and connected the batteries directly to the controller. Everything worked! And so it was last week! As others have said, this board is BAD designed, a piece of junk! I'm sending them back today!
