Review on WeatherX WR282B Weather Alert Radio by Tony Basler

I have had this radio for many years and love it as it was the only unit I could take into the woods and get clear stations and weather. After it broke last year I ordered another one - when it arrived I noticed that the dial was very difficult to turn, the frequency dialed was not what I wanted. So I returned it and re-ordered from a different seller - the dial worked fine but the analog settings were terrible. If I wanted to play a 96 FM station I had to turn the dial to 92... the settings are far from the same. At first I thought I had a bad radio (that happens) but when a second set arrived with the same problem I realized this was no accident. It will also be returned. If you don't care that the analog foil is far away then this is a good radio, but if you're out of town and unfamiliar with local stations it's not worth it. Spend the extra money and get something else.
