Review on ๐ŸŽง Turtle Beach NLa Gaming Headset for Nintendo Wii U - Black by Udders Sharma

Headset is very thin and looks like it will break before active use

I bought this because it was nine dollars instead of the advertised retail price of $35. I thought/hoped that this drop was due to the slow sales of the WiiU and not the quality of this headset. After all, the box bears "Nintendo's Official Seal of Endorsement" and Turtle Beach isn't an unnamed brand. The headset is very thin and looks like it will break before active use. The ear pads are too light, I can feel the hard plastic underneath pressing against my ears. It would probably hurt if I really wanted to keep using them, which I don't. Which brings me to my biggest problem: the sound from this headset is far too quiet for FARA. Even with the volume on the TV and tablet set to maximum, I can barely hear anything. It's about as loud as standing 20 feet away from someone playing a 3DS when they turn the volume down to half volume. It's so ridiculous that I pulled out cheap Sennheiser headphones I bought from Revain in 2008 and they broke within a month. their use. There is an intermittent loss of tone in the left cup. They are still CLEARLY superior to the brand new Turtle Beach headset. The price is so cheap I wouldn't return it to Revain. You've been very sympathetic to me over the years. To be honest I'll just throw them in the trash and be done with them.
