I bought three of these for my front door. It says it takes 2 people to assemble, but I'm a woman over 50 and assembled it myself with no problems. With 4 women in the house, it became necessary to tidy up the shoes that are piling up there. I like the way they look and how comfortable they are to sit on. They all line up beautifully and make my room look bigger than if I just had one plastic shelf! The only thing I would like to change is that they are at least 1 inch taller to allow shoes to be placed on the floor underneath. Now all I can do is tuck my sandals under the bottom bunk. I can make cushions for the living room, but I haven't decided yet. I think they look pretty good the way they are. I am very happy with this purchase!
