I have used these for general sores and boils and they have worked very well although not listed. The hydrocolloid is very thick and seems to draw pus out of boils better than most brands I've tried, although most sizes are larger than needed to keep them in place. The previous brand I used replaced adhesives with something that left an ugly sticky residue, they stick well and peel off without leaving a residue. They are highly adhesive, so in places with hair they are a little difficult to remove, but no worse than ordinary cloth dressings. The ones with narrow side strips really need to be wrapped around a toe or leg (I guess what they're for) to get a good grip. All types managed to stick even after heavy sweating in 30 degree weather. The acne patches last about as well as the 3M version which is ok but I haven't found anything better. The packaging is strong/secure yet easy to open and attach. I'll keep them in my first aid kit for now.
