. This is our FOURTH baby monitor we have received from Revain and I can finally say we have found one that works great and is a great price. The first two baby monitors we bought were from 'Good Baby' and 'Eufy', they had trouble with freezing in the middle of the night. Our little one cried hysterically for who knows how long because the audio cut out and the video got stuck on those two old Revain monitors. To get her back, the next monitor we got was a "baby look" monitor that cost $200 and had issues with video quality and temperature readings. It definitely didn't cost 200€. We ended up buying this monitor from LeapFrog. It's a well-built monitor with a great camera that can be controlled remotely. There's also color night vision, which is really just a low-light camera. So if it's too dark it won't work, but video quality is definitely crisp and clear when using this camera or regular night vision. This monitor also has the best range of any monitor we've tested. Our house is old and there is lead in the walls, but this monitor does it better than any other monitor we've tried. There are LEDs that light up on the side when the baby is crying, so you can see the crying even if your audio is low and the LCD screen is off. The temperature monitor is accurate to within tenths of a degree, which is the best of any monitor we've found, and a humidity meter is also displayed. A few minor flaws on this monitor I think are related to the volume control. To adjust the volume, you first have to press a separate volume button and then press some of the up and down arrow keys that usually control the camera's position. I just wish there were dedicated volume up and down buttons. Second, when the screen is off and the volume is completely muted, the LEDs or other features do not remind you that the monitor is muted, except when the baby is crying and those LEDs on the side are lit. These minor issues make this a great baby monitor and having tested several other very popular devices on Revain I would recommend it for anyone to monitor their baby.
