As with Sharon, removing the d__m label was a nightmare, only my experience was worse. I poured in nail polish remover to get rid of what was left after soaking in hot soapy water. The nail polish remover immediately rendered the plastic (where it met the cup) completely opaque. It DESTROYED a perfectly nice, new, high-quality measuring cup. If it wasn't I would have left 5 stars but I am disgusted that this is a brand new measuring cup was ruined right at the gate. WARNING: DO NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER TO REMOVE THE LABEL. Come on manufacturers, there are labels that come off pretty easily forever? Tie a label to the pin, use a different glue, whatever. I'll add a photo when I have time. A measuring cup is one of them (who knew?) I wish I had tested it before pouring nail polish remover If they didn't use glue which is easier to remove I would have wanted them to put a label on the bottom .
