I needed a tall director's chair for a color consultation. The last time I bought it was 25 years ago and I don't remember it being anything like that! This chair is the best in the line. Sturdy, which is important as it gets a lot of use, and wide enough even for my less slender clients. I think it will be very satisfying. I also like the solid white finish. I don't think it will scratch or chip.
