I have noticed that my dishwasher leaves a soapy film on glassware and even the stainless steel water bowl. I googled and found that this can happen with non-phosphorus dishwashing detergent, which was introduced in 2010. Citric acid or vinegar rule this out. I have used the Jet Dri conditioner before and it has worked well. I think our water has hardened in the last 4 years. GE referred me to Lemi Shine (but their product was no longer made). So I got a Lemi-shine tablet and ran d/v with no components as stated. The body of the washing machine shone! I had no idea how boring he had become in the last 8 years of his life. I have a Lemi-Shine and have used it with a D/W change of soap. There is NO residue on the stainless steel pan and the glasses were very clean too. The smell was great! This product is a powder, not a tablet. I think I'd give 5 if it was a tablet, but it probably doesn't matter. I really like this product and I hope it solves my problem (I've only used it once). You can get it as a conditioner instead of Jet Dri but haven't tried it yet.
