For those with 4C or very curly thick hair, this hair dryer may not be suitable. I bought this dryer in December 2016. It is now July 27, 2017 and my second comb is completely broken. I'm not sure what Andis was thinking when they created them. 1) The plastic teeth of the thin comb attachment are softened and broken by the heat of the dryer. 2) The wider comb attachment (pictured) broke off on the side because it didn't hold up well enough. If you have 4C or thick curly hair, the comb will slip out of the dryer a few times, and this happens when the hair is properly detangled. 3) When the hair dryer gets too hot, it shuts off. You then have to let it cool down and it will turn on again. Overall I gave the hair dryer 2 stars because for those with thin or thin hair you can be satisfied with this hair dryer.
