So my son has slept with me since he was born. Now that I'm 18 months old I figured it was time for him to have his own bed. At first I was skeptical about what he would do. But to my surprise, he LOVES it. The first night he slept in it alone all night. It is very durable and easy to get on and off. However, it is difficult to assemble if you do it alone. I definitely recommend two people if possible. I didn't buy the mattress as a set either, but I did buy the hypoallergenic Bubble Bear mattress, it was the same price but seems to be of better quality and very comfortable. 10/10 recommend this bed frame
