I bought this costume to make a Sherlock costume. My pup is 35-40 pounds and I used an XL sample size. It fits but hardly if your dog is bigger you will have to adjust a bit. Everything turned out very nicely and received many compliments. If you are a beginner, the instructions can be a bit difficult to understand.
