I've only flown the drone twice, but in my experience I'm delighted with the results. an hour to fly + No geofencing - which ultimately made me buy this drone as my first drone compared to DJI + Excellent obstacle avoidance - this thing has cameras and ultrasound that cover most of the angles making things difficult to hit or crash + 1" camera sensor - I'm a photographer first and a drone pilot second. Before I bought my first drone I was waiting for an improvement in camera technology and this one didn't disappoint. Videos and photos are in the Default settings great. A Pro/4K model with a 1" camera instead of an 8K model with a much smaller and inferior camera with no adjustable aperture. Video up to 120 fps which is great for slow motion although the Air 2 is 240 fps, which I like a bit more (no one has 240 fps on a 1" sensor yet). + More flexibility: Evo 2 has an interchangeable camera module, meaning you can switch between pro Switching Standard and Dual (Infrared and Visible) Cameras Basically it's great, although I don't really see the point in buying a standard camera, but infrared is said to cost between $6,000 and $8,000. DJI sells an IR drone for $3,000, so I don't think I'll ever replace that camera. cool things to come and their open platform bodes well.+Controller: A control to both control the drone and view the video feed. No separate phone or tablet required. You can see more information at a glance if you connect a second screen to the controller, but it's not necessary. + Comes with 32GB Sandisk Ext Reme so you are ready to fly as soon as you receive the drone. It's good for storing the drone when not in use, although I'll probably have to put it in my basement. This thing is bigger than my luggage, which I usually fly with. If you're traveling with a drone, you'll need to buy another drone body and a battery or two (simple Revains look nice and cheap). I just don't understand why they made it so big. It's probably twice the size it should have been, although I think it has a lot of padding. It's a little louder than the Mavic Air 2 to my ears, and I think even the Mavic Pro 2 (although it may just be on a different frequency and the Pro 2 is very similar). It's not a big difference and for me it's worth getting a better camera that requires a bigger and heavier drone. Price: For me, it came down to this drone or the Mavic Air 2, which is less than half the size. Price. The Mavic Pro 2 with smart controls costs about the same, so I think that's fair. If I really get into this hobby I might buy the Air 2 as well as it will be much more portable for travel and the DJI software is a bit better (more autopilot modes). I need to see if I can buy a decent carry case for my Evo and how difficult it is to travel with. And as mentioned above, the price of an Evo infrared, which I was interested in for business, is ridiculous compared to DJI. The software is very good, but not as perfect as DJI's (DJI offers some smarter flight modes). than Autel, but I think it will improve over time and they still offer almost the same amount right out of the box) - A small downside is that they include a cable to connect a second screen to an Android phone / -tablet connect but no apple one. Better to add both or none at all. I don't currently use mine with a phone or tablet. If you want the best camera quality and no geofencing, this is the drone for you. If the price is too high or you want something more portable, go for the DJI Mavic Air 2. I've read some rumors about the Mavic Pro 3 and they haven't convinced me to postpone it (July 2020). The only things I would be interested in is a better slow motion mode (240 fps), possibly a better camera although it's pretty impressive, a cheaper infrared option and more software modes (e.g. Hitchcock effect / cart zoom effect).
