Should be standard on new cars
After discovering these silicone covers I always buy them for my car keys as replacement keys are not cheap. I love the scratch protection they offer. and waterproof but not waterproof. and they provide some cushioning for the key when dropped. The downside is that they make the keys heavier. but I agree. I bought these for my new 2017 Honda CR-V and they fit perfectly.
