Reliable but imperfect

My dog likes the stroller and it seems reliable. (We've had it for two months now.) My biggest complaint is design flaws. The folding mechanism is extremely impractical. I thought that after 60 times the "hook lock" would loosen a bit, but it doesn't. It cannot be folded and fixed with one hand. It takes brute force and ingenuity to figure out how to close it. It folds up nicely, but then you have to manipulate the brake bar to clip it over the bottom of the stroller bed to make the stroller compact enough to fold up. I literally spent days trying to figure out how to close and lock the mechanism. Tried everything, looked stupid and felt stupid doing it, dropped to the floor to see what it held up, so this brake rack solution was the only way to fold it up and lock it in place so I could pick it up and put it down . in the trunk of a car. (Instructions not included.) At this price I expected the stroller to work well. It is not. Second, you must remove EVERYTHING from the bottom of the carrycot before folding it. And the tray above would be better if it had a lid so you don't have to take out the dog bags to fold it up. In other words, some design flaws make this stroller LESS THAN COMFORTABLE. If you don't pack the stroller, that's fine. But if, like me, I take my dog to the park and so on and I need him to fold, this is not the best option. I'm keeping it because it ticks most of the boxes, but I'll warn you it's not perfect.
