Corrosion and stripped threads

When shipped the tool was covered in corrosion as if it needed oiling before shipping. Nevertheless, I tried to use it and immediately the internal thread, which was supposed to protect the gearing, broke completely and destroyed my motor shaft. Worth the money to buy a polar from an RM stator
