Great alternative to the best collars and recovery cones
The plastic pubic cone we got from the vet didn't work for our dog. Her dog was very uncomfortable in it and cried all day. It was a great alternative. Once she got used to it, she actually found it comfortable and even used it as a pillow. This seems to prevent her from getting to the wound and give it a chance to heal. We are a large size and our dog is a 70 lb lab mix. It was a bit tricky to inflate and difficult to stay fully inflated, but it worked for us and I liked that the cover was removable and washable.
