I've had I've had a Fujitsu ScanSnap IX500 for several years. I had to upgrade to a scanner with a TWAIN driver. I thought it would work. I immediately noticed the difference. Epson is in no way inferior to the ScanSnap. The only benefit might have been speed. However, the software is so poor and cumbersome and the functionality is so minimal that speed is not seen as a real benefit. I have decided to return this product and look at something else. . Maybe I just gotta do it Got it. I am very satisfied with the ScanSnap. I wish they had a TWAIN option.
