I bought three of these monitors to use when setting up a racing simulator. Out of the three monitors, I only noticed two dead pixels, but that wasn't an issue as my monitors are set so I don't see any dead pixels unless I'm looking for them on a white screen. These monitors look really good, especially since they're only 1080p. GSync works like a charm and the high refresh rate is very smooth. This monitor is great for gaming. My only major gripe with this monitor is the location of the inputs on the back of the monitor. The way they attached to my sim rig didn't allow me to connect any input wires and power cords. I had to buy some longer screws and brass extensions to get the monitor off the front of the mount to be able to connect everything. This was my only problem with these monitors, but my problem came from a very narrow application. Monitor. I don't expect most consumers will have this problem unless planning to use dedicated wall/desk mount options.
