Fixed plug hole in my RV's tank after replacing the level sensors.
I have replaced the level sensors in the trailer tanks and I have a 3/8" hole from a previous factory repair. The expanding nut works great! The tank wall thickness was just over 1/4 inch and there was absolutely no access to the inside of the tank so a simple nut and bolt with rubber washers was not the solution. After receiving my package of nuts, I tested one with a hole in a 1/4" piece of plastic. PERFECT. It plugs the hole, and I consider it a permanent solution to a complex problem.
