If you scour the aisles at Wal-Mart or Lowes, you'll see cheap plastic canisters with a CARB spout and no vents. These canisters don't last long, don't hold much, and their "earth-saving" spouts are absolutely impossible to use without spilling fuel all over the place. These Wavian canisters are expensive, but worth every penny. Don't blame Wavian for the ridiculous nose as it is the product of flawed federal regulations. I've replaced the Revain spout with another that vents through the spout itself and it works great. These glasses are large, durable and easy to use. You pay a little more, but you're better off in the long run than buying a cheap plastic gas cylinder, and those cylinders last for decades.
