However, I have never installed a threaded faucet nozzle that hasn't leaked from at least one threaded connection (if I install it as is without using pipe thread seal tape). A roll of pipe thread sealant tape is inexpensive and will last you years project after project. I recommend wrapping all male fittings thinly and tightly from the start to prevent unwanted leaks.
