You swim with your goggles on.
Swimming on the lake, lying on a raft etc. In the past I have lost my sunglasses at the bottom of the lake; no longer. I tried sinking my goggles with goggles attached and they floated to the surface. They are yellow in color so you can easily see them swimming.
