Review on Philips Norelco AT830 46 Frustration by Denise Aramori

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Don't waste your time if you buy this you will still return it.

I had to take a star off this cheap fake to write a hard review. I have been using Norelco razors since 1987. Out of 10 or 12 Norelco razors, this is the cheapest, worst and non-working Norelco razor I have ever heard of. My 7 year old Soectra 8831XL, which I have never changed the blades on, shaves MUCH better than this crap out of the box. When trimming the mustache, the blades stopped and got stuck in the mustache. I charged the battery overnight and it's brand new so the blades must be sharp but I had to pry this broken razor out of my mustache it hurt. As soon as he was outside, he started to work again. This Norelco has so little strength that a well-groomed man's blond hair is too strong for the basic functions for which it is intended. Even when you turn it on, it just sounds cheap. Doesn't sound like any other Norelco I've had. It's lighter, thinner, feels cheap, the motor lacks efficient power, it sounds cheap, it can't be trimmed or shaved like the old Norelcos with blunt blades, and the trimmer outlet has been redesigned to make it impossible to evenly trim a mustache or beard. My next step is to contact Norelco and verify the serial number. I suspect this is a cheap Chinese knockoff being sold as a product from a reputable company with a reputation for quality, reliability and customer service. upset
