I ordered the medium (my waist is 29"-30" or so) and it fits fine. The product size chart has a note suggesting that wearing the belt cinched to the 5th set of holes is ideal. I can only cinch the medium to the third set of holes. The grommets do not go all the way to the buckle end of the end that sits behind the buckle, so if you don't cinch it far enough, there is a gap where there are no grommets showing. This belt will last for a season or so and looks great over a dress, tunic, or pants (though it is too wide to fit through normal belt loops.it would just sit outside the belt loops when worn with pants). It will be good through all seasons as well. This belt looks as good as the price tag; it's not fancy or particularly high quality. It's good enough and will look nice until it wears out.
