Too much maintenance keeping time

You have to reset the month every month, not just ones shorter than 31 days. Daylight saving time going back an hour takes forever sine you have to go minute by minute through 23 hours. You have to punch to know whether or not the settings you've changed are correct because there is no indicator. The outer casing is plastic, not metal like I thought it was. The internal workings look very sturdy, but the monthly maintenance makes it a loser in my mind.
