Worth every penny! for tools and equipment

I bought the AP7610 a few months ago and have used it a few times already. It saved me a trip to the dealer, so it was worth it! I have used it on my 2009 VW Beetle, 2016 Audi Q3 and 2018 VW Golf GTI. He had no problem reading and clearing codes from all control modules as needed. It can also register a new battery, although I haven't used this feature yet, I've only seen the menu items. If you are looking for a cheap and powerful scanner for VAG vehicles, I recommend this one.
