Just got the case yesterday and it's really good. It's very thin so you still keep the shape of your phone. I've had several different three piece cases in the past that were much larger and while they probably won't offer as much protection, you can still retain your phone's functionality. It turns on and off in two seconds, all buttons work, there are speaker holes and I use magnetic chargers so I always have a lightning plug in my phone, it fits the case perfectly and charges great too. without having to delete. Seems easy to keep clean. There was no protective film in my kit. To be honest this is the perfect case for the XR, definitely the best of the 5 or so I've had.
