Good for the Kitchen, Good for the Environment

This Earth Project 2 gallon packs of compostable ziplock bags are made from corn and must decompose within 90 days in a compostable environment. I've been using these Project Earth compostable ziplock bags for almost 2 months now and use them to store chilled and frozen foods as well as staples like rice and beans. Strong enough to withstand my pantry's groceries, these pouches withstood well-chilled foods that were opened and closed frequently, such as: B. grapes and grated cheese. No matter what I threw at them, these bags held up and felt no less durable than more irresponsible ziplock bags. What I liked most about these compostable ziplock bags from Gallone Project Earth is: - Capacity. If you've ever bought cheap ziplock bags before, you know that just because something is labeled with a specific capacity, it doesn't guarantee it will contain a gallon of whatever you're going to store in it. These bags rightly held as much as expected. Strength. These bags stand up to many openings and closings in my house. This is not the case with many other bags I have used in the past. Environmentally friendly. For some, the term has taken on a negative connotation, but I want to know that I'm investing in a product that's made from sustainable, renewable sources and helps minimize any harmful impact on the environment. Zip packages were: - Price. The only bad thing I can think of about these bags is their price. Compared to most plastic bags you find in stores, these compostable zippered bags from Project Earth are more expensive. However, this price is justified. All in all, if you're in the gallon mailer market and don't mind paying a little more for quality and sustainability, I recommend these compostable gallon zip-lock bags from Project Earth. . After about 2 months of use I found them to be durable, fully capable of holding their advertised capacity and better for the environment than the bags I've used before. The only downside to these bags is their price, but that's mitigated for me as it reduces environmental damage. I will definitely buy these bags in the future. 4.5 out of 5.0.
