Review on 👀 Escali USHM180G-2 Glass Body Composition Scale, 400lb/180kg, Black by Julie Rodriguez

This scale caused me a lot of trouble. Similar problems with other Escali fat/water/muscle weight ratings.1. The scale has multiple profiles so data can be saved for multiple users, great. If you're pedaling, it's recommended to choose the profile that most closely matches your weight. So far, so good. My weight shouldn't fluctuate by more than a few pounds when using it. I have not installed any of the other profile slots. However, I have to manually select my profile every time I use it. That means you press the "Select" button about 5 times to re-enter the profile number, height, body type and age.2. Accuracy seems to be an issue. I only use the scale on a very flat surface: laminate flooring. All corners of the underside appear to be snug against the floor. However, I usually get a 20-30 pound difference in measurement. If I move the scale a little and weigh it again (and do the above process one more time), the measurements appear to be accurate. But still, stepping forward and backward have a difference of 2-3 pounds. The proportion of fat/muscle mass/water remains relatively constant.3. I sent a question to Escali through their website over 3 weeks ago and still have not received a response. This is poor customer service and doesn't inspire much confidence in the company. It's not a scale that I can just step on (as advertised) and view all of my information accurately. Turns out it's a 5 minute effort. I'm considering giving it back to Revane. It's possible my scale was hit too hard in transit - the Escali manual and their website say their scale is very delicate and shouldn't be hit or shaken at all. This is quite difficult considering they ship! I'm a primary member and have 2 days of free air service, so the shipping should have been *less* than average. My 2 star rating seems a bit high at the moment as the product cannot work reliably. These are the most basic functions. Maybe I just have a "lemon". Otherwise, the scale is very appealing and seems solidly constructed. If mine had worked properly, it would have easily received a 5 star rating.
