Review on Mancheng Zi Banana Daughter Decorative Cushion by Andy Mitts

Not the perfect fabric for cushions but looks amazing!

The adorable creature Banana Duck looks really great on this cushion cover. The picture is bright and clear. However, I was a bit surprised by the thick, rough fabric. I was expecting a thinner canvas based on the photos, but the texture is actually very pronounced. I personally would classify it as potato sack material. I will definitely not enjoy sleeping or even lying on it for a long time as it is quite rough on the skin. In the long run, however, it does not detract from my satisfaction, since I bought it mainly because of the look and is certainly good enough as a presentation cushion. When both looks and convenience fail, I choose a duck banana. Because this size is fairly standard, choosing the right pillow for the cover is easy and putting it in is even easier. There is a wonderfully unobtrusive zipper at the bottom edge. The beige handle even matches the case, which is such a thoughtful design detail. There's plenty of room to slip a pillow through the hole, but I'd suggest a moderate restraint as I had a few loose stitches on one side. This was the only such problem; I would still say that the quality of the case matches the price. While the fabric itself is not prone to wrinkling, sharp creases can occur during shipping which can initially prevent the case from being seen in all its glory. Washing will effectively smooth this out and has the added benefit of being recommended before using any such item anyway. The case is strong enough to be both washed and tumble dried, so the material has its advantages. I suspect it will hold up well over time, so I thought the price was pretty reasonable. Also duck banana.

Pros
  • WASH CARE: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low, cool iron if needed.
Cons
