Works in theory. in the kitchen and dining room

The concept works as long as the cover is dry on the inside. This will cause the outer skin of the garlic bulb to rub against the inner soft tines in the tube. This friction causes the skin to peel off. Brilliant idea until you try to peel the second onion. By then the inside of the pod is wet from the juice of the first onion and there is no friction so the skin doesn't come off. Now just make a pleasant massage with a garlic bulb. Maybe I'm missing something here.
