Filters don't last long
I really feel the difference when I take a shower. No more chlorine/chloramine gases that irritate the lungs and skin. I had to change the filter once (about once a month). Not that inexpensive. If you live in such a city and take shorter showers to save water, then it's worth it. I have a 2 person shower.
