You're not holding my hair!

I had this set about 10 years ago and eventually all the springs were rusted and broken so I ordered this set to replace the old ones which I loved so much. It's horrible, my hair isn't that thick so I really don't need heavy clips to hold it. They don't even hold all my hair. The problem isn't so much the size of the clip as the 'teeth' aren't curved enough to grab my hair and secure it to my head. The clip just flops and does nothing, I'll keep checking for new clips.
