Review on WeBoost Connect 470105 Signal Booster by Chris Cruz

I have an old version (Wilson Electronics) in our cabin that works great. I bought this item to boost cell phone signal in our offices. Our cellular coverage with AT&T was great, but they've "upgraded" their network and now sometimes we don't even get a signal indoors. The cell tower is about 2.5 miles above flat ground. I preferred this system to a directional antenna. I got the system and installed the antenna under the eaves, pointing at the cell tower. I ran the wires (I had to use an extension cord). No signal improvement. Thought, maybe AT&T would be in trouble, so put it off for a while. It never got better. Finally, I removed the system and took the amp to my cabin to test it out. Connected to an existing outdoor antenna, everything is green, but the cellular signal is not getting any better. Reconnect the individual and get a 25dBm improvement. Unfortunately, the return period has long since expired. Thankfully, Revain's customer service was understanding and agreed to give me a full refund. My observations on this product are: The antenna seems pretty cheap, but they are pretty basic devices. The amp itself always gave me two green lights (I could get it to give me a red feedback light, pointing the internal antenna towards the external one). There is no easy way to solve the problem and why it is not working. I still need it and I think WeBoost is the best system.
