When we adopted a new kitten last year, he was very small and very shy and took some time to get used to his litter box. She's had a few accidents at home, but mostly on our bedding (now I know there's always an investment in a mattress pad). When I decided to look for a good purifier, I knew I should stick with a CO2 based purifier as that is what cat experts recommend. It's really adorable. If the video is fresh, it will work the first time. But you can do the treatment as often as you like. I know I liked doing about two treatments if the stain had been there for a while (I usually found the stains after coming home from work a few hours later). The formula doesn't cause color to bleed onto anything I've sprayed. This is probably the biggest factor in my kitten learning to stop peeing on the sheets and blankets. It also has a nice clean fresh scent that doesn't resemble the smell I just used it on. I used it as the instructions say without the help of a carpet cleaner (just a regular Dyson vacuum). I use rags/napkins to clean. I recently discovered an incredibly old stain on my mattress topper (I don't know how I missed it; it must have been there for almost a year). It took about 4-5 treatments in a row but slowly but surely the spot really disappeared and now it's gone. I can't say enough good things about it; will buy it forever if needed.
