I bought this wallet despite some reviews mentioning that the card holders are too tight and that there is order in them, because if these problems were bearable, er would suit my needs. I sniffed it upon arrival and there was very little smell and definitely no bad smell. In my experience some of the slots in the middle on each side are more difficult to draw a card. I put the most used cards in the top rows and have no problem getting them out. It's a large wallet and I don't usually carry it in my back pocket like I normally do unless I need it. be on me I was very happy with the purchase.
